 Welcome To the Barnstable Silver Bullets 25^th  Season

 Practice Schedule:     For the remainder of our season

Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday  *  5:45 – 7:30 p.m.

 JV Games:

-Saturday, September 17th – JV game is home against DY, players needs to be in RED game jersey

                      -Mite game starts at 9:00 players need to be there at 8:00

                      -Midget game starts at 10:00 players need to be there at 9:00

                      -Pee Wee game starts at 11:00 players need to be there 10:00

All Players must be there on time for their Game Day Weigh-IN.       ^

 Varsity Games:

-Sunday,  September 18^th,  our 1^st HOME game is against Middleboro, players need to be in RED game jersey

                     -Mite game starts at 11:30 players need to be there at 10:00

                     -Midget game starts at 1:00 players need to be there at 11:30

                     -Pee Wee game starts at 2:30 players need to be there at 1:00

All Players must be there on time for their Game Day Weigh-IN.       ^

 It is a tradition that on Friday before a game all Silver Bullet Players wear their game jersey to school unless their school requires a uniform, this week wear RED game jersey

 During Sunday’s games we will pay tribute to one of our Silver Bullet players from our inaugural season *  Fallen Hero*  Navy Seal Kevin Houston. Kevin was also a Red Raider captain . Along with our football brother –BHS Red Raiders -  we will all be wearing a KH sticker on our helmets to honor Kevin Houston. Come out, pay tribute and support  our  2011 Silver Bullets. If you did not receive a KH sticker or a 911 sticker at practice last Saturday please stop by the snack bar to get one.

  Youth Night:  Next Friday September 23, will be Youth Night at the Barnstable High School Varsity Game.  Silver Bullets Players will get in free by wearing their Red game jersey. The Players will be brought on the field and their name announced.  More info to follow next week

 Volunteer Sign Up –Refunds available after your shift is completed. We have 4 Varsity home games so sign up early if you wish to work at one of these games. 36 positions available at Varsity games and 9 positions available at JV games. Shifts are still open. Each player’s family is needed to do at least one shift  of  volunteering  during the season. Sign Up sheets are available at the Information Table or at this late date you may also email your requested shift to info@barnstablesilverbullets.org.  Choose from volunteering during home games at  the  Gate,  the Snack Bar, or on the field doing the Line Markers. 

Needed this week:

9/18 – VARSITY GAME – Line Markers for Pee Wee game  – 1 needed

SNACK BAR – Mite game 1 needed – Pee Wee game  2 needed

GATE – Mite game 1 needed – Midget game 2 needed – Pee Wee game 3 needed

 Baked Goods … If anyone would like to bake for Sunday’s game please drop off individually wrapped items to the Snack Bar to be sold during our games.

 Miscellaneous:

-Throughout the season there will be a Weekly Information Handout regarding the upcoming  weeks schedule which is given out at the end of practice every Thursday Night and also posted on the website by date under Weekly Handouts.

-Parents, it is a lot of work to run this program and we need volunteer help to keep our costs down and   run a successful program. Please don’t hesitate to do more than 1 shift!!

-Don’t forget to check the website for updates, cancelations, schedules and events @  www.barnstablesilverbullets.org In the event of bad weather we try to post cancelations on the website by 5:00 p.m. Also check your email for important info.
