Welcome To the Barnstable Silver Bullets 25^th  Season

School Schedule after Labor Day:     For the remainder of our season

Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday   *  5:45 – 7:30 p.m.

Team Photos  – Tuesday September  6^th during practice.  Players must wear their Game Uniforms – Red Jersey and game pants to practice.  Individual player photos will be taken Oct. 9^th during the Varsity Game for parents to order.

 Thursday,  September  8  – Weigh-In at DY High School at 4:30p.m.  RED GAME JERSEY MUST BE WORN.  After weighing in we will return to our field for a full practice.

 -All players must attend the weigh-in, this is a league requirement and   is NOT optional.  We must submit a copy of your Birth Certificates for weigh-in to make you eligible to play. If your copy has not been  handed  in please do so as soon as possible.

 Directions:  Take exit 8 (Station Ave./Union St.) stay right onto ramp, take right onto Station Ave.. Go straight through 2 sets of lights. Y-D High School will be about 1 mile on left hand side after 2^nd set of traffic lights

 Dennis-Yarmouth  High  School Field – 201 Station Ave. South Yarmouth, MA 02664 -Travel time 30 minutes.

                      Weight Limits:

            -Mites              105 lbs.

            -Pee Wee        130 lbs.

            -Midgets         160 lbs.

 2011 Barnstable Silver Bullets Football Program – This program is in production  now and if you would like to place a personal ad or greeting for your child please see Jeff Richards or Doris Menard at the Information Table. Deadline for submitting ads is September 3^rd.  This football guide lists all football player  and  cheerleader rosters as well as Team Photos. The kids love to see themselves in print. All profits go back into the program.  Business Ads from any local businesses are also very much appreciated.

-Sunday,  September 11  – first Varsity game @ Silver Lake -  (All Varsity games are played on Sundays)

-Saturday,  September 17 -  first JV game vs. DY – (All JV games are played on Saturday mornings

 Volunteer Sign Up -Each player’s family is needed to do at least one shift  of  volunteering  during the season. Sign Up sheets are available at the Information Table.  Choose from volunteering during home games at  the  Gate,  the Snack Bar, or on the field doing the Line Markers. 

 Barnstable High School Varsity  Football  1^st Home Game – Friday, September 9^th @ 6:00 p.m.  vs Durfee HS.  Come out and support  our  football brothers. Wear RED or WHITE and show your Raider Pride.

 Our Helmet Drive was a huge success – best campaign yet!! Thank you to all those families who attended.

 25^th Anniversary Photo – We were able to capture the formation  using all 128 players in attendance at practice.

 Miscellaneous:

-Throughout the season there will be a Weekly Information Handout regarding the upcoming  weeks schedule which is given out at the end of practice every Thursday Night and also posted on the website by date under Weekly Handouts.

-Parents, it is a lot of work to run this program and we need volunteer help to keep our costs down and   run a successful program. Please don’t hesitate to do more than 1 shift!!
