Practice Schedule: (All practices are at night from 5:45-7:30 p.m.)

School Schedule after Labor Day:

Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday   * 5:45 – 7:30 p.m.

Helmet Drive Fund Raiser – Saturday, August 27 – We will have players at various locations with 1 parent chaperone per 2 players collecting donations for the Silver Bullets. This has been so successful in the last 2 years that we have not needed to do any further fund raising campaigns. Please come out and help. The boys have a good time and all our supporters have been very generous. (Sure beats selling more raffles tickets or calendars!!) Jeff Richards (Fund Raising Director) will be at the Information Table so you can sign up your player/ parent  to volunteer his shift.

Important Dates:

-Thursday September 1 –  Scrimmage with DY at home. Time TBA

-Thursday September 8  - Weigh-In at DY High School at 4:30

-All players must attend the weigh-in, this is a league requirement and is NOT optional.  We must submit a copy of your Birth Certificates for weigh-in to make you eligible to play. If your copy  has not been handed in please do so as soon as possible.

            Weight Limits:

            -Mites              105 lbs.

            -Pee Wee         130 lbs.

            -Midgets          160 lbs.

-Sunday,  September 11  - first Varsity game @ Silver Lake -  (All Varsity games are played on Sundays)

-Saturday,  September 17 –  first JV game vs DY – (All JV games are played on Saturday mornings

2011 Barnstable Silver Bullets Football Program – This program is in production now and if you would like to place a personal ad or greeting for your child please see Jeff Richards or Doris Menard at the Information Table. Deadline for submitting ads is September 3^rd.  This football guide lists all football players rosters, cheerleaders as well as Team Photos. The kids love to see themselves in print. All profits go back into the program.

Miscellaneous:

-Throughout the season there will be an Information Handout regarding the upcoming weeks schedule which is  given out at the end of practice every Thursday Night and also posted on the website.

-Parents, it is a lot of work to run this program and we need volunteer help to keep our costs down and run a successful program. There is a Volunteer Sign –Up Book available at the Information Table.

-Don’t forget to check the website for updates, cancelations, schedules and events @  www.barnstablesilverbullets.org In the event of bad weather we try to post cancelations on the website by 5:00 p.m. Also check your email for important info.
