 Welcome To the Barnstable Silver Bullets 25^th Season

 Practice Schedule:     FOR MITES ONLY   Congratulations on reaching post season Play Offs

Next week practice:  Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday  *  5:45 – 7:30 p.m.

 JV Games:   -Saturday, October 29^th   - JV game is away against DY, players needs to be in WHITE  game jersey  

                      -Mite game starts at 9:00  players need to be there at 8:00

                      -Midget game starts at 10:00 players need to be there at 9:00

                      -Pee Wee game starts at 11:00 players need to be there 10:00

All Players must be there on time for their Game Day Weigh-IN.        ^

 Directions to DY: Travel time 20 Min.  Directions:  Take exit 8 (Station Ave./Union St.) stay right onto ramp, take right onto Station Ave.. Go straight through 2 sets of lights. Y-D High School will be about 1 mile on left hand side after 2^nd set of traffic lights

 Varsity Games:

-Sunday,  October 30^th  – Varsity game  is  HOME vs Plymouth , players need to be in RED

                     -Mite game starts at 11:30 players need to be there at 10:00

                     -Midget game starts at 1:00 players need to be there at 11:30

                     -Pee Wee game starts at 2:30 players need to be there at 1:00

All Players must be there on time for their Game Day Weigh-IN.       ^

 It is a tradition that on Friday before a game all Silver Bullet Players wear their game jersey to school unless their school requires a uniform, this week  wear RED game jersey

Volunteers Needed for Sunday, October 30^th  for the following shifts:

Snack Bar: 10:30-12:30 or 12:30 – 2:30 or 2:30 – 4:30

Gate/ Merchandise:  12:30- 2:00 or 2:00-3:30

Sticks: Mite 11:15-1:00 or Midgets 12:45-2:30 or Pee Wee 2:15-4:00

 Baked Goods … If anyone would like to bake for Sunday’s game please drop off individually wrapped items to the Snack Bar to be sold during our games.

 IMPORTANT DATES FOR REMAING SEASON EVENTS

 Equipment Hand In:   Pick up Pictures and Deposits Refunds (Volunteer & Equipment)

-Wednesday, November 16^th  is equipment hand in.

-It will be at Building M that is the Building where the snack bar and bathrooms are

ALL EQUIPMENT MUST BE RETURNED  CLEAN – Both sets of Jerseys and pants – WASHED AND COMPLETELY DRIED AND READY FOR STORAGE. Equipment Deposit refunds will be returned at this time to those returning ALL pieces of equipment distributed to players and on their checklist.

Schedule:   -Mite  – 5:30-6:00  *  *  Pee Wees  – 6:00-6:30   *  *     Midgets  – 6:30-7:00

 If you cannot make your exact time slot please come anytime between 5:30 and 7:00.

Once the players have handed in their equipment as they are leaving building M they can make reservations for the Awards Ceremony and pick up their Pictures.

Div. I Super Bowl Games being hosted by Silver Bullets at our field complex on Nov. 13^th.

Lots of volunteers will be needed that day. The top 2 teams in each level will travel to the Cape to play their 2011 OCYFL championship game.

 Awards Ceremony:

-Sunday November 20, 2011 at 12:30-3:00 at West Villages Elementary School  Auditorium – 760 Osterville-West Barnstable Rd. Marstons Mills, MA 02648 – formerly Barnstable Horace Mann Charter School.

-Immediately following the ceremony there will be Pizza, Wings, Soft Drinks & Dessert

-Players, parents and family members are invited and there is no charge. Make your reservation at Equipment Hand In so that we can plan accordingly.

 Spirit Week Parade – Wednesday, Nov. 23rd . We will have a float in the parade. All players are welcome to ride on the Silver Bullets Float.  Please meet at Veterans Memorial Park @ 12:15. Parade begins at 1:00. The parade will proceed down Ocean Ave.,  then up Main St. and down South St. to Town Hall where the Pep Rally takes place on the Village Green. Come out and support the Red Raiders and cheer them on to BEAT FALMOUTH. Players should be picked up in the Village Green by 2:15 following the Pep Rally. Don’t forget to show your Barnstable Pride and wear RED!!!  We will decorate our floats to celebrate our 25^th SILVER Anniversary and you are welcome to bring signs as well.
